Atopic, contact, and seborrheic dermatitis in adolescents

Abstract

Atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis are chronic or recurrent inflammatory dermatoses that commonly affect adolescents. They may present a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for physicians, and can be frustrating for patients. This article reviews the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of these diseases.
