Two novel cytotoxic cyclodepsipeptides from a mycoparasitic Cladobotryum sp

J Org Chem. 2003 Mar 7;68(5):2002-5. doi: 10.1021/jo0263059.

Abstract

Two novel cyclodepsipeptides (1 and 2) along with three known compounds (3-5) were isolated from a New Zealand isolate of a Cladobotryum sp. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated from NMR and HRESIMS experiments, and the absolute stereochemistry of 2 was established by X-ray crystallography and chemical degradation. Compounds 1 and 2 were both cytotoxic against murine P388 leukemia cells.
