Folipastatin, a new depsidone compound from Aspergillus unguis as an inhibitor of phospholipase A2. Taxonomy, fermentation, isolation, structure determination and biological properties

J Antibiot (Tokyo). 1992 Aug;45(8):1195-201. doi: 10.7164/antibiotics.45.1195.

Abstract

A new inhibitor of phospholipase A2 was isolated from the fermentation broth of Aspergillus unguis. The structure, with a depsidone carbon skeleton, was assigned by spectroscopic experiments.
