Urology. 1990 Dec;36(6):539-40. doi: 10.1016/0090-4295(90)80198-v.

Abstract

Femoral mononeuropathy is a recognized complication following abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy. Retractor injury and lithotomy position were postulated mechanisms. We report a femoral nerve lesion following a radical perineal prostatectomy.
