[Rapidly progressing glomerulonephritis secondary to IgA nephropathy. A clinical case]

Abstract

We report the case of a woman with rapidly progressive IgA nephropathy. She was treated with pulse methylprednisolone sodium succinate (1 g/d for three days), cyclophosphamide, dipyridamole and aspirin. The rapid progression of renal failure was apparently halted after 6 months.
