Hepatic disease and the skin

Dermatol Clin. 1989 Jul;7(3):435-48.

Abstract

There are numerous cutaneous findings associated with liver diseases. Although most of these changes are nonspecific and therefore are of limited value in the actual diagnosis of hepatic disease, recognition of the association may be useful for diagnosis and for monitoring the patient's response to treatment.
