Abstract
The incidence of senile osteoporosis is not known because of the various criteria used for the diagnosis of this disorder by different authors. This discussion carefully reviews the pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment of the condition, placing special emphasis on various techniques of diagnostic radiography.
