At average 3.2-year follow-up, the hospital mortality was 1.3%, the total mortality was 2.6%, recurrent variceal hemorrhage rate was 1.9%, postoperative encephalomyelopathy rate was 4.1%, and the survival rate at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 year were 98.3%, 96.6%, 93.7%, 89.2%, 83.3% respectively. The clinical efficacy of LPCS-LRA was satisfactory and the incidence of postoperative encephalomyelopathy was low.
